Rock by the Rock

Tonight is the night! Hyannis Sound (and me) return to Plymouth! 8pm at the Church of the Pilgrimage downtown. It should be a nothing-short-of-hillarious day in Plymouth, and be ready for pictures to follow!

Also, the spiders are starting to resurface (gasp!)

What's everybody doing for this fine 4th of July weekend? I think I'm going to eat a lot of cheeseburgers.

We've got a nice little monday planned out...

What a cool day yesterday! I mean, sure it was 80 and steamy, but it was really fun! We started our day singing at Lawrence Jr. High School in Falmouth. What a crowd! I was warned that you guys are pretty crazy but wow, my ears are still bleeding from all the screaming. But it was great, you guys certainly know how to make a new guy feel so good (so good, so good!)...sorry, had a sweet caroline moment right there.

From there Paul, Arjun, Cooper, Doug, and myself spent the day on Main St. in Falmouth. We had lunch at Liam Maguire's, What a great place to eat. Paul contends that they just might be correct in claiming that they have the best burger in town. Any where else we should try?

We continued to walk around and check stuff out. This included stops in Puritan Clothing so Paul could get a less pit-stained shirt for the evening show, and Arjun and I being Arjun and I in the toy store.

Then we decided to kill some time taking a spin over to my home in Plymouth. I told Doug that it takes 25 minutes, he argues that it took 50, but I swear it was 35. This became an issue for him and I as all of you at last night's show remember. But we have since burried the proverbial hatchet and he's still glad we went to Plymouth. The guys got to meet my stepmom Marylou and she was nice enough to take this darling picture of us at my house...

After that we went back to Falmouth where Cooper tried Lobster Ice Cream. He seemed really happy and sad at the same time while eatting it. It was strange. Then Falmouth Week 2 which as usual was great!

See you all in Chatham tonight!

Hot like Wasabi

What an amazing week! Week 1 of shows turned out to be something quite magical. Falmouth was wild. Chatham was beautiful, Brewster's acoustics were amazing, and the homecoming show back to Hyannis was really a blast. Thanks so much to everyone who came out and made this week outta control! It's only going to get even better!

Here are the fans outside the Hyannis show friday night. Seriously, you guys rock!

Yesterday we had quite the adventure. We took the journey up to Arjun's house in Cambridge for his college graduation party. It just so happens that the temperature in Boston yesterday was somewhere around 96 degrees. I would know, because I got a B+ in Weather last semester. After a really sweaty ride to his place, we arrived to be greeted by a really nice and friendly family and an even nicer and friendlier air conditioning unit. My favorite part of the day had to be the sushi that was served. It just so happens that Cooper is a HUGE sushi fan as indicated below.

Also, it was Andy's first time eating sushi, and Micah told him that he had to put a lot of wasabi on it to make it taste good. The look on Andy's face was priceless when he found out how hot the wasabi was. I guess you should never trust Micah when eating sushi.

Here's to a great week and the end of our musical boot camp of learning a vast amount of songs in a short amount of time. I think I'll go celebrate by playing some dance dance revolution.
