Annual Bootleg Volume 3 is now officially recorded!
We should be getting the tracks via internet today as soon as John Clark (aka The Man) mixes them and makes them sound nice. We sang about 21 songs last night, throwing everything we've got out there. It was certainly a fun experience singing Sweet Caroline into a microphone with a windscreen... I felt like I was recording an album! Oh, Wait...
As of now the target is a Week 9 release (it's Week 6 right now). I'll keep everyone updated as we go through the process.
For those of you closely following the Hyannis Sound Fit Club progress, let me share with you some tips on how to feel like you're doing a great job getting in shape:
One thing that will really help you out is listening to "Eye of the Tiger" from
Rocky on repeat wherever you go. This way you'll be pumped up and simple daily tasks will feel like you're getting a workout. I mean who wouldn't feel like they are getting down the pounds just reading the paper while listening to that song?!
Many people make the rookie mistake of stepping onto the scale with BOTH feet to see how much weight they've lost. On the Rob Powers program, try stepping onto the scale with one foot and keeping the other foot on the ground. I think you'll be pleased with the indicated weight on the scale.
And finally, nothing gets you in shape more than a good healthy run. But lets face it, that just takes too much effort and hard work. Instead, drive somewhere, get out of your car, and start to breath heavy as if you've just gone for a jog. Then turn around and look at the road you just drove down and say "Man, that was a long way to run".
See if these tips work for you. The Scale idea alone helped me lose 149 pounds this week!
We're singing at the Barnstable County Fair tonight!
