Road Rage?

What a weekend! We all took a trip to New York for a private function and needless to say it was pretty crazy.

We left the Cape at about 11 am stocked up on snacks, reading materials, and CDs. Things were going great through the South Shore and Rhode Island until we hit Connecticut.

I HATE CONNECTICUT TRAFFIC!

Interstate 95 was a MESS! Traffic was just not moving at all. But we aren't talking Route 3 Friday traffic or Route 6 Sunday traffic. We are talking 11 miles, nobody is going anywhere. It wasn't that bad for most of us, but for the drivers like me, it was loooooong.

Then it started down pouring. And when it pours, windshield wipers are clutch. What's not good is when your wipers stop working. Micah was driving the beast called Primetime, an old conversion van, and it's wipers died in the middle of the heavy rain on I-95. Because of this we had to pull over to a gas station.

Micah called up Papa Christian for some guidance and he suggested that we check the fuse.

Sure enough, it was a blown fuse. We changed the fuse and then it was off to the rest of our journey.

Until we hit traffic again.

And worse.

Basically a 4.5 hour trip turned into a 6.5 hour trip. But the performance was great and the people sure were nice! On the way back it only took us about 4.5 hours and we got to drive through some really dense fog.

And now it's time for PCC, which I hear is a great time.
